I think it really comes down to how much of the actual work is being handed over to AI. Using it for brainstorming or checking ideas seems pretty reasonable to me, but I’d still want the author to be responsible for the story, characters, voice, and final writing.

Same with apps, honestly — I’m much more interested in something that is simple, works reliably, and doesn’t force a subscription or a bunch of ads just to use basic features. A good free TV Remote App free ad should be useful without making you fight through advertising every time you open it.
