Dear Mr. Korman,

A family tradition continues. I started reading your books as an eleven year old girl. The first three Macdonald Hall books had been published, and you came to our school to give a speech to our class about writing. Many years later, my middle son, then ten, was deep into The 39 Clues series, and enjoyed your contributions. I introduced him to the Macdonald Hall books, and you had another fan.

Just now, another several years have passed, and my youngest daughter announced that her favourite author is Gordon Korman and she loves the book Slacker. When I mentioned that her older brother and I are both longstanding fans, she got very excited and asked me to write to you. Your books have brought my family a great deal of enjoyment over several decades now, as well as inspiring my littlest girl to start writing a “chapter book”.

Thank you so much. Claudia
