Oops — that makes this #6. Good question. I don’t know where I get my character names, but I can’t write about someone unless he has the “right” name. And I have no idea what the “right” name is, but I know it when it occurs to me. So I pick a name like Logan rather than Michael, or Rudy instead of Steven, or Griffin instead of Billy. A little unusual, that’s the ticket. The characteristics, like Griffin being The Man with the Plan, are all fictional.
