If you enjoyed THE UNTEACHABLES so much, then I must have done something right. Actually, it isn’t possible to follow characters in a novel right into their old age! Kiana stays with the SCS-8  group, which goes on to high school. We can hope Mr. Kermit’s teaching has made them into better students, right?  Mr. Kermit continues to teach — that’s explained in the book. And Jake and Emma get married — that’s explained too. As for a sequel, I would never say never, but right now nothing is planned.
