I have an answer for that one too! Originally, Tamara was part of the project, and so she was probably in Serenity at the start of everything. Her DNA could have been taken without her knowledge, from a dinner fork, a hairbrush, or a drinking glass. And it’s even possible that she donated it, then pulled out of the project and thought her sample had been destroyed.
