Dear Gordon,

I had one more question that I forgot about last time. I realized that in the first book, the online article about Project Osiris says “The plan referred to a possible shift in experimental protocols once the cloned subjects reached fourteen years of age…” and then later, Tori heard her parents talking about Malik. They said “The older ones will be fourteen soon. Any toxic element has to be weeded out for the good of the group…” I was wondering, what did they actually actually mean by weeding?
