Mr. Korman,

I also just read “Restart” (virtually) to my 3rd grade gifted class. They LOVED it! (TBH – My son (now in 7th) and his 6th grade teacher turned me on to your books, and I’ve got a lot of students and teachers reading them and wanting to read more.) Let me start by saying “Thank you” as this book was amazing, created great discussion about character, kindness, and how we have a choice as to how we treat others. (Or as one child said, “We don’t need to get amnesia to make a change in our behavior… we can just change how we act if we want to.”)

One thing our WHOLE class wanted was to find out what happens next. The story ends and leaves us wanting more. Why? I’m not sure, since the story does wrap up nicely. But I think it’s because we’ve connected so much with the characters and we want to see what happens to those characters. My students want to know: Are you planning a sequel to Restart? OR are you planning a spin-off book about one of the other characters? (I’m betting you get these types of questions a lot.)

I’d love for you to write back to us so I can share your comments with my class. But if not, know that this book has touched the lives of many… adults and kids alike! Thank you!
