Thanks for posting. I’ll try to answer all your questions:

1. What was going through my mind? Mostly, it was the outline that I always make for all my books. I’m a very disciplined writer. I concentrate on my plot and characters.    2. RESTART is strictly fiction. Incidents and characters are made up.                  3. My favorite character is Brendan. Why? I’m basically a comedy writer — I like to make people laugh. I used him in this book for comedy relief, but he became much more than that. He really was Chase’s guide to better behavior.    4. A boy with a star spinning around his head. Huh? Actually, I know what you mean — after falling off the roof, right? That’s really a comic book illustration, and RESTART is a semi-serious middle grade novel. Plus I write the stuff, but I have nothing to do with the cover art.
