Planning works only until you realize that this should’ve been that, and this other part should be in the beginning, and oh wait – the ending won’t work if the character can’t do that.

I’ve been able to plan short stories (and some not-so-short stories) and I’ve been able to use it to finish writing them.

But thanks, I will try thoroughly planning something and going it over and over again to smooth any wrinkles until I have a complete storyboard. You so sound confident in your writing style.

When (not if!) I finish my first book, I’ll show it to you. It’s about a city girl who suddenly moves to a dairy & cheese farm and hates it there. Over the book, she slowly realizes how amazing it is, makes some new friends (and a few enemies), and finally settles into the regular life of a dairymaid.
