In case you were wondering, we were McAnally Intermediate School in Aledo, Texas. (The town that was on the news because some freshmen held a pretend slave trade over Snapchat, unfortunately.) My town is kind of, well, bigoted. Aledo happens to be in Texas, a state known for being discriminative, and I was hoping that by reading books like yours, books about the idea of religous freedom, and general equality that you could help to influence the next generation. I also wrote some poetry for school, and was hopung you could give me some commentary:
I didn’t submit this, because my friends said that it was beautiful, but I would be attacked, possibly by any of my educators for submitting this publically, so this is what I wrote for that instead:

Thanks! And sorry I wrote so much! This is random, but I was wondering what music you like? Thank you! – Ruby
