Hi, Janine, Hamish, and April,

Thanks so much for your letter. I do get quite a few family notes, and even several from 3-generations of readers, but I never get tired of hearing from you! I appreciate your ongoing support, and cherish the mental picture I get of you passing along my books to your kids!

Your question: “Remembering Buddy” was reimagined as POP, the Y/A football story about CTE. As for B&B meeting the Phantom, I’m at a loss! Sorry. I guess it wasn’t as close to becoming a book as I pictured it at the time. Or I’m not the kid writer I used to be, and my memory is failing me. But you might like to know that June 28 is the release date for THE FORT, which is my Book #100. I admit to being mightily impressed by that. And where did the time go?
