Glad you enjoyed UNPLUGGED. It’s becoming pretty popular.

Questions: 1) Jett calls his Dad by his first name because he feels close to him, but not close to Mom, who is rarely around. 

2) I don’t require what you call “inspiration.” I write because writing is what I do. The alligator plot came from the same place all of it comes from. I chose it because I very much disapprove of the alligator hide business — not that alligators are my favorite friendly animal!

3) I didn’t choose those books. Their relevance seems to be that they’re mine and that they’re fairly recent releases, and readily available to potential readers.
