Good question (yours usually are!) I needed Keenan to be handicapped in some way, so that he could be a bit of a fish out of water, virtually friendless, not really happy to be away from Mom and stepDad, and very much missing seeing the world as an international student. That would make him receptive to ZeeBee’s offer of companionship.

Why did I pick TB? Because it’s serious, not like a broken leg or measles. It’s a long recovery.
