Re: Diane and Cathy. Would it sound silly if I said they did it themselves? Back in those days, when I was a teen, my characters used to come to life for me and take on their own characteristics. Once I attached Cathy more or less to Bruno, her behavior became more like his. Ditto with Diane and Boots. But in the very first book, they were just two girls from Scrimmage’s.
