Hi, Mrs. Wilson & Class,

I’m glad to hear that the class is enjoying THE UNTEACHABLES so much. Your question is one that I’ve been hearing a lot from 6th graders just like you! While I was writing and giving various viewpoints, I never realized that I was leaving out only two people. I don’t mind omitting Elaine so much, because she was the strong silent type. But poor Rahim really deserved a shot, I agree. Sorry about that. My bad. If I ever get a chance for a rewrite for an updated release, I promise Elaine and Rahim will have their say, OK?
