Good to know you’re still out there, being as available as high school will allow you to be. Yes, it’s very different from middle school, as I recall, ‘way back in the dawn of time. I think the courses you take and the enrichment you want to take on should be discussed with your Mom, who seems to be really smart about stuff like that. She knows you better than I do. And she’s also the person you depend on to know when your super-courses are a good idea, but also when your sports season is right up there in importance too.

I happen to think you can handle all of it, and sports too, but it might be a squeeze. And if you’re wanting to do well, to advance, to get into sports, and to continue with your writing PLUS have a life, sometimes it turns out that you end up doing justice to none of it. That’s where Mom comes in. She knows you better than you know yourself, I bet!
