Hi Gord! I am having a wonderful summer already! I wasn’t going to tell you this before Wednesday, but here is a new “book idea”… What if two best friends, Janet and Rowan, do different sports (volleyball, cheer), and Janet decides to try out for cheer–the sport Rowan does? Janet and Rowan were both extremely lonely when they had no friends in their own sport. They are super excited up to tryouts about how the upcoming season is going to be so awesome, as they will have each other. Except, when tryouts happen… Rowan doesn’t make it. And she’s been (officially) doing cheer for five years. But Janet… who’s been doing volleyball for two years, and has no cheer experience… makes the squad. 

This would be a really cool book idea if it wasn’t real life for me right now.
