Thanks for posting and for choosing to do your English project on me.

My influences. That’s pretty tough. I started writing professionally at age 12, and that was over 40 years ago. At the time, my influences were parents, school, and friends. I’ll tell you what I think all writers’ influences are: we write because we have something we want to say, a story we just have to tell. That’s just about all it takes to start us scribbling. 

My interests as of now haven’t changed much since I was a 12-year-old published author. I like to write, and mostly to write funny stuff and keep my readers laughing. I’m interested in colleges since my eldest son is in college, and my daughter and younger son are coming along in school too.  Our favorite things to do as a family differ with the different kids. My wife and I love football, and so do our boys. We’re Giants fans, season ticket holders. Our daughter is into the arts and is a talented singer and actress, so we’re into that too. Spending time as a family is our favorite thing to do. We also love ocean beaches, and are lucky enough to live close to great beaches.

As for my free time? What free time?
