Titles: they often write themselves, straight from the story. e.g. MASTERMINDS, or THE HYPNOTISTS, also UNGIFTED.  Sometimes I have the title before I’ve written a single word of the story, sometimes the title comes during the writing, and sometimes I don’t name the book at all, but my editor will do it for me.
