Hi again,

It’s Wednesday, and I’m off to tour a little — St. Louis for 2 days and Cinci for 1 and then home onlyto take off again Sunday night for a promo tour for SLUGFEST for Harper Collins.

They’re ALL the hardest characters to write. The trick is to make them people, real people, with likes, dislikes, quirks, problems, etc. Then, if they’re people to you, chances are your reader will find them people too. (A little trick of the trade.) Times are usually the present, and sometimes I pick a couple of years into the future because that’s how long it will be before the book comes out.

And if reading my dull talk when you get home from school is the big thrill, you need a hobby! Hee hee.                    –G–
