@Asher: You’re right ’bout elementary school. It’s a slightly bigger gap between 5th and 6th than between 8th and 9th. High school and middle school are more similar than middle school and elementary school.
The scene with Yash and Hammond was so sad! It hurt to see friends like that part–but then I reminded myself that they’re 14 and not the type to throw away a friendship without fighting for it. Yash would fight for it. Still really sad scene.
Seeing the chaos of Sarah and Stuart outside of school is SO fun. This made me think of what their life with their parents are like. Are there parents exhausted from the kids’ shenanigans? Indifferent? Or are they just as crazy as their kids? So fun to imagine. Great save, Stuart. That was really cool.
@Raymond: Maybe he is building his own team! What would he use it for, though?
Also.
“Dude”
“Bro”
Man, that was funny. It really made me laugh when I first saw it and it does not. Not because its unrealistic, but because its so realistic. I’ve never greeted someone that way but that’s probably because my closest friends are girls. Or maybe not. The life of boys is a genuine mystery to me.
The boys, Hammond and Amir, are kind of gits. I mean, it makes sense ‘cuz they’re popular guys, but still! Ugh! It makes me sad, too. Never trust the popular kids when they’re together, unless they’re… actually, just never trust them. Trust no one except that loser in the corner with nothing to lose. (Pun? Yes.)
“If you’re the QB of the Comets”
Man, that was LOW! It kind of just fell out of his mouth (he wasn’t trying to be evil) but that hurt ME! I felt so bad for little Yashie in that scene, specifically that part. Poor boy.
IDK why I keep talking about them like they’re more than 2 years younger than me. Anyways!
Be blessed,
Jade
