Chapter 4

Loving Arabella. Wow does she have a tough situation with her dad. i wonder if it will be a plot point later on.

The lukewarm wax for the car wash made me actually belly laugh out loud – the first time in forever in a GK book. I am really enjoying this one. 

The story with the ramp sounds like it was inspired by Hitchhiker’s guide to the Galaxy – one of GK’s favorite books I believe. 

Mrs Finnerty sounds like she is having memory problems. I really hope that isn’t the case, as she is a really nice character.

Chapter 5

Arnie sounds like Steve Cavanaugh. In fact, this whole Arnie section seems to be a remix of “No More Dead Dogs” meets the Twinkie Squad”.  Slugfest is giving me major Twinkie Club vibes (ive said it before, but I’ll say it again). 

Do mall cops still use segways? Are there even malls or segways anymore?

Nitro Nate seems like a real Steve Cavanaugh-level douchebag, so far. 

Final thoughts – I am really really loving this new book. It’s my best GK book since Whatshisface, and it may even surpass that. And I loved , loved Linked! (I hated Mixed Up and Superteacher though). But this is better.
