Thanks for posting. I’m pleased to hear that THE FORT seemed to speak to you on such a deep level. And the fact that you’re going on to read more of my books is great too!

Your suggestion: I’ve decided that THE FORT was a one-shot deal. Plus it’s not reasonable to believe that CJ’s Mom would ever trust Marcus again and, for that matter, neither would CJ. Trust is earned, and what Marcus has earned is hardly trust. And, unfortunately, it’s not really reasonable to believe that Marcus could ever change. People do try, but their ingrained habits are strong stuff.

I hope that whatever you read gives you a lot of laughs plus something to think about — something interesting.
