Hi! I’ve been reading the messages but I forgot to say stuff. So here!
BELLA BELLA BELLA! She’s my favorite here and all after that. We’ve finally got tot the coolest part of the book.

Cleo sounds mean, but she’s not: pragmatic and realistic, too. She has faith But she doesn’t ignore how hard the slugs (everyone) works. I actually really liked this chapter

I’m so glad she’s coming back to her love for sports. I bet she was the (girl) GOAT before she quit.

@Raymond, you’re so right. That’s also probably why I love Gord’s books so much. I absolutely adore friednship fics. The fics where the characters are so close. That’s why WHATSHISFACE was my favorite for such a long time; other than Roddy’s absolutely hilarious sass and everything about him, the thing about William Shakespeare (I think he’s cool), that heist, I loved how Roddy and Cooper became closer than brothers. So. Many. Books. Do that, but then they ship the characters to make a couple: so I adore when they don’t become a couple, when the author shows the value in friendships. Friendships are so underrated and I’m so glad Roddy and Cooper are closer than brothers.

(Same reason I like Merlin BBC. Spoiler: Basically, Merlin and Arthur become closer than brothers, but not boyfriends. It’s so cute)

But back to Gord. Like Raymond, you said, most of his stories have friendship. Like Masterminds was so cool but it would NOT have been the same if it didn’t include those friendships (and Malik.)

@Raymond: Thanks for saying I speak like an author. Yeah, it makes me think about other books too!

@Asher: My QuikTrip (or a few I know) have kosher. I don’t know what the proper thing tastes like either cuz ‘m not allowed to eat pork. I’m not allergic either. My dad bans it from the house (religious) But it’s not kosher, I don’t think, because it’s not prepared in the proper Jewish way. (Sorry if that sounds rude)

Anyways gas station food really isn’t that good. I can’t wrap my head around why those kids get it every single time. Is it really that hard to bike to McDonalds or something? Dunkin? Starbucks? Zaxbys? 

Also, nobody talks about how DIFFICULT it is to do so many sports. Cleo and Yash are so impressive. Especially Yash, because he always gives 100%: that’s an amazing character trait, so I can see why not being allowed Football is so heartbreaking.

This  is the beginning of the awesome part!
