Hi, Brennah,

Thanks for posting. I’ll try to answer all your questions.

1)My ideas come from plain old hard work, and a lot of thinking and plotting. No big mystery; it’s just work.  2) I’m always working on something new. This time it’s a World War II story of a boy and his great-grandfather, working title WAR STORIES.  3) Fun fact: I wrote my first book at age 12, in answer to a 7th grade English project. I was NOT trying to be an author. I was just trying not to flunk 7th grade English! And look what it led to!  4) Advice for your project? As with all schoolwork, give it your best shot, stick to the topic, and proofread for grammatical & spelling errors. Teachers HATE those!  5) I’ve written 98 books so far. 94 are in print, and #95, LEVEL 13, will be out at the end of June. It’s a sequel to SLACKER. The rest are in the publishing process and will be out in due time.

OK? Good luck with the project! Thanks for your interest in me and my work.    —–Gordon Korman—–
