Dear Gordon Korman,

I absolutely love all of your books! My favorite probably has to be Restart, because I love the whole idea of him being able to redo his life choices. I\\\’m in Battle of the Books (it\\\’s a book competition where we have to memorize facts about certain books), and a couple of years ago Notorious was one of the books for it, and it was probably one of my favorite books that year. I really liked the mystery portion of it. I heard that you wrote one of your books when you were my age, and  that\\\’s really cool!!! I am currently trying to write a book (I might try to get I published someday, I don\\\’t know), and I was wondering if you had any advice. One of the things I\\\’m struggling with is trying to make the chapters a good length. There are certain phrases I want to end chapters on, but sometimes that only makes a chapter 2 pages long. Also, it\\\’s hard to tell what could be perceived as believable. You\\\’re a really awesome writer, and when I started middle school one of the first signs that it was going to be okay was that there was a full shelf in the library filled with your books. Also, I think it\\\’s really awesome that you have this page here. There are a bunch of other really cool authors that have actually just completely banned people from trying to contact them, so it\\\’s really cool that you reply to people on this page.

Thank you for reading this!

A fan,

Faye
