Most of this chapter was exposition, which I really liked and had no problem with at all.

We get the perspective of Shoshanna which I personally really liked. She was angry about her brother and what happened to him. Her thoughts and actions weren’t the most justified, but she wasn’t in a good place.

I really like how the introduction to Chases old identity was handled; By showing the thoughts of someone who isn’t fond of him.

Joel was a good character, and I hope to see more of him.

My questions: Why does Shoshanna think he was smiling at her? (Not that she was imagining it, why does the smile cause her to get angry.)

How close are Joel and Shoshanna?

I don’t have many questions since a lot of it was exposition.

One more thing: Shoshanna reminds me of Cleo from Slugfest. They both are very skeptical about the appearance of a jock in their lives. Except that Shoshanna has history with Chase as Cleo doesn’t with Yash. They just seem similar.

Jade, I don’t really have a lot of thoughts on her since we didn’t get much, but I have to admit the yogurt surprise wasn’t the best thing Shoshanna could’ve done.

Raymond, I also like some of the designs in the chapter.
