Hey! Sorry for responding a little later, just been busy the past few days.

I can’t believe it was spelled El Capitan, and not El Captain, because when I first read it my brain immediately just thought of Captain, not knowing there was a slight difference in spelling. Anyway, I thought it was a genius idea, as soon as I read the name I knew it would deceive people easily. While reading the description of the car, I almost fell in love. I can imagine it in front of me, the sparkly red car just gleaming in my face… Also, the fact that it’s electric too, makes it 100% better (although it is a fake haha.) And Jade, I could try to sketch the car (I love drawing… I’m just not that good at drawing automobiles.) I have a good depiction of it in my mind and maybe I could show you guys?

I agree with all of you guys, I thought the lavender background was very nice. I like how he adds yellow to the cover, just as Raymond and Jade noticed, they’re complementary colours. Putting the Groucho glasses on the cover was a clever choice, representing how Trey and his family had to cover up to hide their old identities. I liked the subtitle “It’s no fun being a son on the run”. The rhyming makes it catchy, and intrigues you on how the two words “son” and “run” relate to each other in the story. Overall, I think the cover looks awesome!
And wow, Raymond you’re a great observer. Or maybe just a big fan. Or maybe both.
