Thanks so much for your message. ISLAND was written almost 25 years ago, and it’s still making its mark in Canadian and American schools. If it’s a hit with the kids, I recommend EVEREST, also a trilogy, and the 3 books of DIVE as well. They were also very popular, but ISLAND remains the prominent one.

Good luck with it! Teaching kids to enjoy reading/stories is such a wonderful occupation. I can see how much it means to you.
