Happy Thanksgiving!

The second Monday in Oct. is always Canadian Thanksgiving, mostly because if we wait for the 4th Thursday in November, we’re usually up to our ears in snow, and no one can go anywhere.

My Mom is a good cook, but has been cooling it lately – health problems. And I have one aunt in Montreal who thinks she’s a great cook, and who really is NOT.

I hear a heck of a lot of people had major arguments along with their turkey this year, because of the election. What a waste of energy when it’s only going to last 4 years!

Favorite dessert – good old pumpkin pie with vanilla ice cream!                                                                 —G—
