Hi,Ellie B.,

Thanks for posting. I’m glad to hear that RESTART went over so well with you. I’m also pleased that you enjoiyed I WANT TO GO HOME, which was an important book for me as a 15-year-old author ‘way back when!

The first book I wrote was called THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL. It was #1 of the 7-book Macdonald Hall series about Bruno & Boots. There have been movies made on that series too.

When OLD SCHOOL was published last week, it made my booklist 105 items long. Do I recommend any of them for you? I sure do. They’re basically aimed at Middle School and young High School, and I think that’s you, right? Laughs guaranteed, and even some excitement and suspense!

Thanks again, Ellie.                                                                                —–Gordon Korman—–
