A quick question

Hey hey Mr. Korman!! Sorry to bother you at such a late hour (for me), but I have a quick question. Is there/was there any implied romance between Reef and Theo from Mixed Up? Or any implied feelings for the other? Specifically towards the end of the book? I understand that Theo had a mad fat crush on Portia through most of the book, so maybe he’s off the list, but Reef is still a possibility. This question has been on my mind ever since I’ve read the book back in March last year. Maybe I’m looking to much into this, but I just need to know!
