Chloe x Donovan is essential for Donovans character growth in Ungifted

Up to this point in Ungifted, Donovan went from being the protagonist to being Noah’s sidekick, having no character growth, yet there is one character that both encourages character growth and has a reason to be reinserted into the story. Chloe Garfinkle has been shipped with Donovan since the first book, yet it appears you have ignored the ship and instead turned the series into Noah Adventures with Donovan as his caretaker. Yet Chloe challenges the character of Donovan while still deeply admiring him, making a 4th book in freshman year much better. I understand that you removed Donovan from the ASD, but they could blossom a external relationship in the 4th book, and become bf and gf while still keeping Noah Advnturing with Donovan. Thank you.
