Dear Jena, Raymond, and The Brave Souls Willing To Read (I didn’t even copy and paste that!)

I have a proposition. Remember the “MIXED UP Book Club” we did back in August, I think? Yeah, well, since Gord’s new book, SLUGFEST, is coming out on January 9th, I was thinking maybe we could do another one for this book maybe in February. Same rules as last time, if you want, but really I’m just trying to convince you to agree.

I really enjoyed the MIXED UP Book Club. Like really, really enjoyed. And yeah, I’m gonna be busier with school this semester, but not any more busy than I was in 9th grade. I figured that since it was such a hit (with us at least) last time that we could do it again. It’s totally fine if none of you want to (or if none of you ever see this again), but I would be honored to have you. 

And if I don’t have you, it’s fine, because I’ll just do it myself. All alone, with nobody to talk about the book with, except Gord of course. Well, I’ll also cash in a few favors and force my friends to do it with me but still, you know? Anyways, tell me if you’re up for it. We can talk about it, yeah? Thanks so much.
