Linked

Dear Mr. Korman,

I’m Vivek B. I\\\’m writing to you because I read your book, “Linked”. I wanted to read this book after seeing the front cover! I loved it! Something strange happened after I started reading, we started doing things that were from the book at my school. Paper links, and we started talking about the holocaust and World War ll.

I really loved Link’s character arc. It was really interesting how he was having a bar mitzvah yet he was the one who drew the swastika. I didn’t connect with him a lot because I’m not Jewish nor draw swastikas in my school. My favorite character was Micheal. Watching him struggle to count up all the links was so funny.

I really like how the book played out because the plot twists were insane and so full of emotion. The part where Pamela calls Link to meet up because they both painted swastikas and were “no different”, made me really frustrated because I don’t get why Pamela really thinks Link would come with her. When the school finally hit 6 million links, I was proud even though the book wasn’t real.

If this book had a movie, I’d be really happy to watch it. I feel like the book was already a movie, just in a script. Link, Dana, and Micheal were perfect for the POVs. ReelTok was a great addition! I loved his shenanigans. This book was really great! I would give it a 10/10 and recommend it to anyone!

Thanks for reading this!

Sincerely,

            Vivek B
