ATTENTION: ST. LOUIS FANS – SORRY!

Last week I was forced to cancel three appearances in St. Louis because of flight disruptions around the country. I was stuck at O’Hare airport in Chicago. The plane that was supposed to take me from Chicago to St. Louis was three hours late leaving Dallas, and, at the last minute, diverted to Indianapolis. It was after midnight by the time the flight was officially canceled. I actually ended up spending Monday night on a folding cot in the airport terminal.

By then, all the flights to St. Louis the next day had been filled. I couldn’t have gotten there until after my appearances would have been over.

None of which makes this any better for fans at the schools and libraries I was supposed to visit. I’m SO sorry this happened!

I’ve been in touch with my hosts at the St. Louis Public Library, and we’re working on way we might be able to reschedule. Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned for any news. In the meantime, I apologize for being a no-show. I hope to get to St. Louis to meet you all as soon as I can!
