    Dear Mr. Korman, 

    Hi! I'm Darby. I am 8. I LOVE your books!  Especially Don't Care High, Radio fifth grade,  I want to go home,  and Who is Bugs Potter. My mom said she liked I want to go home because it reminded her of summer camp. Like Bugs, I am also a drummer! I am going to be on your PJ library book talk! What  is the favorite book  you've written?

    Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to see that you're a fan. I hope you'll want to read your way right through my long list. It now stands at 101 titles with the recent release of THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT. Next to come out -- in June, something a little different called MIXED UP.


    I honestly don't have a favorite among my books, Darby. But I admit I'm usually the most excited about the latest releases. So I guess the current favorite is THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT, and it's soon to be replaced by MIXED UP!

    Funny story. I was inspired to become a writer by a burning desire not to flunk 7th Grade English. My first book, which later became THIS CAN'T BE HAPPENING AT MACDONALD HALL, started as a school project. I was writing what our teacher called "a novelette," and I got carried away and quite accidentally wrote over 100 pages!
