Hi Gordon,

I am a high school English teacher in northern Israel. I am thinking seriously of teaching "No Coins, Please" to my high-level Grade 9s of next year. Although it is aimed at younger kids, I think it is suitable for my class and there is a lot of high-level vocabulary. I first read the book when I was an Education student at UBC in Vancouver. I have also read several other books of yours and LOVE them all!! A few days ago, I asked my 28-year-old son (who has read many books of all different types!!) what I should teach these Grade 9s and he said "No Coins, Please". I hadn't even remembered that he had read it.

Thanks, Gordon, for the speedy reply. I read the whole book during Shavuot! Such fun! I am really looking forward to making up the unit. I have never read a book in one day!
