Hi, Mr. Korman,

I'm a middle school librarian in suburban St. Louis and tomorrow (Tuesday) our school's monthly book club will be meeting to discuss The Fort. I've already gotten some great feedback from a few kids and I'm excited to have the kids discuss it.

Just wondered if you had any brief thoughts or words of encouragement to share to our book club as we sat down to talk about the novel. The kids always love it when they can get even a bit of love from the authors they read.

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that THE FORT is your Book Club topic.

THE FORT has a very special place in my heart because it was my 100th book. I'm not sure if the class knows that I wrote my first book when I was 12 -- which is why I've managed to get to over 100 titles in one lifetime!
