I'm glad to hear that WAR STORIES went over so well with you. It was my first attempt at writing about a serious subject like World War II, and I really got into studying the background story. It was a grim time when so much was destroyed, and so many people lost their lives, but it was a fascinating study for me. And inventing a story with that background was difficult, but very rewarding. --GK--
