Ili, right? You're the one who wants to celebrate my birthday.

I was 15 when I wrote I WANT TO GO HOME. It took about 3 months to write it, and another month or so to "smarten" it up so it was fit for publication. As for the similarity between Chip and Pierre and Rob and Dennis, I think you're right. As I said, I was a mid-teenager at the time, and I believed in re-doing whatever seemed to work!

I loveee I want to go home. that was actually the first book that I ever read by gordon korman!!!!! I loved it so much that I wanted to get more and now I have over 30 Gordon Korman books on my shelves. My parents and all my friends have read I want to go home and think its hilarious. I really have to thank the librarian that recommended it for me because otherwise I don't know how I would've found out about it!! I think my friends are getting tired of how much I talk about your books and say how awesome they are, Gordon Korman. Your books have become a go-to present for all my reading-loving friends, and they all loveeee your books!!

I\'m not sure! I love all the parts but I think I especially liked when they tried to escape from the first time and when Rudy wrote the hilarious letter to his parents! I also liked when they made Harold greene\'s bunk fall down. How about you?

I WANT TO GO HOME was written 'way back when I was 15, and was the favorite of all my books until RESTART came along a few years ago. Thanks for the comment. Rudy Miller's stint as camp counsellor for a day always gets a lot of laughs from the readers. I WANT TO GO HOME was written 'way back when I was 15, and was the favorite of all my books until RESTART came along a few years ago.
