Hello Gordon!

I was wondering if your MASTERMINDS trilogy has been optioned to be talked about for a movie/tv series and if you would ever write another book about their high school lives or just a 3rd book in general.

Thanks for posting. I guess you're asking if there's going to be a 4th book for MASTERMINDS. I haven't planned one, but I also wouldn't rule it out. There's still a lot to say about the clones, but I'm not sure I know exactly how I would continue their story. So all I can say is I MIGHT write one, but I can't make any promises. Sorry to be so vague about it.

Hi Mr. Korman,

I just wanted to say how much I love the Masterminds series. These books completely blew my mind — the twists, the suspense, the characters, all of it! The idea of kids being clones of the world’s most dangerous criminals is one of the coolest and most original plots I’ve ever read. I couldn’t stop turning the pages.

I’ve heard that Masterminds was optioned for a movie or show, but nothing official has happened yet. As a huge fan, I just wanted to say: please, please let this become a real movie or series! I honestly believe it would be amazing on screen — it has everything: action, mystery, friendship, and even some cute moments with Tori, Eli {Teli} and Amber and Malik {Amik}.

You’re my favorite author, and Masterminds changed how I think about books. You made me want to read more, and even write myself. If there’s anything fans can do to help this story get adapted, I’d be the first in line to support it.

Well, I wish I could clone you! Thanks so much for your support for MASTERMINDS.

It wouldn't be up to me to make a movie or series based on the books. That's up to film companies, who buy the rights to the stories and make the films. It hasn't happened so far, but we can all keep a good thought, right? I agree. MASTERMINDS would make a great movie or tv series!
