I decided to revisit one of my favorite GK books-second only to THE FORT-and it was awesome! From the title, you could guess, yes, the book was THE SUPERTEACHER PROJECT. Not only is the cover…well baffling, it’s intriguing. I don’t know how Scholastic comes up with this stuff.

The pacing was one of the most surprising things for me. It was steady throughout the entire book and never failed to let up too little or too much, just enough to draw the reader in. Another element was how the book ran. Only about 1/3 of the story, if that, is spent in mystery of Mr. Aidact’s identity. It’s more of a drama-type storyline that is focused on how the town figured out about their new toy, straight from the Department Of Education.
