    Hi all, it has been a while since I have been on this forum, but "Snoop" officially comes out tomorrow and the premise couldn't make me more excited. It seems very interesting and similar to "Faker" (one of my favorite Gordon Korman books).

    I remember last year, about a year ago, we did a book club for Faker and that was pretty great. There was a different topic every day and it was fun being able to discuss a great book.

    I haven't seen anyone talk about a book club for "Snoop" yet, but I think we should do one with a fun format and schedule. Obviously, we can't do it immediately because we have to give people time to get ahold of the book, but if anyone wants to participate, I'm sure we can set something up for possibly late July - August (with Gordon Korman's permission of course).

    So, if anyone wants to do it, feel free to state your ideas for a format for this book club and things we can talk about. I know it's quite early, but we could plan and get ready for when all participants have a book. So, would anyone be willing to join?

    Side note: Just started reading "Old School" and that setup is spectacular.  Don't know if anyone did a book club for it, but I lost track of the release date with school. Can't wait to continue "Old School" AND to read "Snoop".

    I think it'd be cool if we did a chapter review and then answered questions at the end. It was pretty fun when everyone got to lead a day too. Maybe we do normal chapter a day reviews and then at the end do the everyone lead a day thing. I am going to be reading the whole book before the book club starts! Sorry that I never finished the whole review of OLD SCHOOL... I read the whole thing but only reviewed about half of it!

    I finished Snoop and it is a really good book, the characters were great too. Excited to eventually discuss it!

    I think we can pretty much do it whenever assuming everyone who wants to participate is finished with the book. For the schedule we can probably do a discussion everyday for a different chapter or something of that kind. ALso something else if anyone has any ideas.

    Dear Mr. Korman


    I recently read Snoop and as always it was a blast. A kid who is hooked to a screen all day is a character I could relate to very well. As a 12 year old the internet is a endless well of entertainment and many kids struggle to draw the line. I really loved how you dealt with that issue in the book.


    Apart from the important moral themes that were covered I also found the book to be hilarious although somewhat predictable (maybe because I've just grown too old to be reading middle grade literature) .


    Once again I'd like to request that you try out a new genre, or perhaps write another novel for young adults. I look forward to your next big hit and I thank you for presenting the quality-read that Snoop is.
