Dear Mr. Korman,

I teach 5th grade at a Title I school, and every year our students eagerly read your book Restart. It has become a much-loved tradition in our classroom and a highlight of the school year. The story’s themes of redemption, friendship, and self-discovery resonate deeply with my students, sparking thoughtful conversations and inspiring even our most reluctant readers.

After many years of use, several of our copies, a total of six, have begun to fall apart, with pages coming loose from the binding. Unfortunately, due to limited resources, we do not currently have the funds to replace them.

Because Restart has had such a significant impact on our school community, I wanted to reach out in the hope that there might be a way to help us replenish our collection so that future students can continue to enjoy this incredible story.

Thank you for writing a book that has captured the hearts and imaginations of so many of our young readers. It is a true gift to see their excitement and engagement when they read your work.
