Hii, do you think that Chase from restart was failing/close to failing all his classes because his amnesia made him forget literally everything he learned in school previously? (especially math)

Good question, Amia!

Amnesia can present itself in many ways, including the most severe -- the loss of the memory of everything, even speech and physical movement, like walking. But that's not the way I wanted to present Chase. He memory loss was specific to his identity, recollection of his life, his surroundings, his friends, and even his family. But he was reasonably well, physically, except for the fall from the roof. And his memory for everyday life was pretty much intact, including his school work. His memory loss is related to having done something he didn't want to have to face.

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased to hear that RESTART made such a big hit with you. I don't know of any plans to turn it into a graphic novel, but I'll ask my publisher. I think you're right -- it would make a really good one!
