NoraHi Mr. Korman! For a school project on a chosen author, I'm doing you and your book, Schooled, and I have two questions. 1. Would you say your background may or may not affect your writing style? 2. What compelled you to switch between multiple POV's in your books? Thank you so much!

Thanks for posting. I'm pleased that you enjoy my books, and that RESTART made such a hit with you. I hope you're enjoying SCHOOLED, which has become almost as popular.
Your questions:
1. Good question. I'm pretty sure that every writer's background has an influence on his/her writing style. We write about different characters, but the speaker is always ourselves no matter how hard we try to be someone else. We're always in there somewhere.
2. I find that multiple narrators create multiple viewpoints, and round out a story better than any other technique. I don't use it for all my work, and I do use it a lot because it "does the job" for me. I hope that makes sense!
