Hello, Gordon. As the title says, I have a question for you. As you may know, your fanbase is fairly big. Lots of your fanbase are tweens to young-adults. Now, I can't help but wonder how you feel about your fans shipping some of your characters together. Specifically the male characters. Because the shipping of characters is very common in the fandom. I mean, shipping is common in every fandom. There's no stopping it.

This question is somewhat out of the blue, and i'm not sure if you've gotten it before. I'm just very, very curious on your thoughts.

Thanks for posting. I'm very happy with the fan base that I have. As readers and customers, they're entitled to ask any questions that come to mind. Most of what does has to do with whether or not the characters are based on real people; or did any of this stuff actually happen to me. The shipping questions are pretty straghtforward, and most, but not all, are boy-girl questions. Anything else surprises me, because I don't think or write in any unusual or secret direction. But every reader is absolutely entitled to see what he or she sees in my work. -----Gordon Korman-----
