Dear Gordon Kormon, I’m a big fan of the book Unteachables but I have some questions:

can you make a book 2 of the Unteachables?

how long does it usually take for you to write a book?

did you base any of the Unteachables characters off of reel people?

why didn’t you write any chapters from Elaine perspective?

Thanks for your friendly note. I'll try to answer your questions.

There will probably not be a Book 2. The kids are going to graduate and move on to high school, trade school, different high schools, etc. And Mr. Kermit will have new students. That story is done.

It can take me anywhere from 5 months to a year to complete a book so that I feel comfortable to send it to my editor.

The UNTEACHABLES characters are all fictional.

A lot of people wanted to hear from Elaine. I felt she was a more minor character than the others.
