Dear, Gordon Korman

Who is your favorite character from the unteachables? Did anyone inspire you for the characters?

My favorite part of the book was the science convention when  parker drove his car  with the banner on fire and knocked Dr.thaddeas into the bushes!!  What is your favorite book you wrote!

[Daniel]

Isn't it Dr. Thaddeas?

Hi,Ethan,

Thanks for posting. If I had to pick a favorite character (and I hate doing that because I really like most of my characters!) it would be Mr. Kermit himself. I have great sympathy for him, and I wind up rooting for him every time I skim through the book.

Nope. Nobody inspired the characters. I made them all up.  OK?              -----Gordon Korman-----

Dear Gordan, (I can't believe I'm writing to you!) I love your books and was wondering what was your first thought on The fort (My personal favorite book!) was?

Hi, Liam,

My FIRST thought? It was to create a friendship among the diverse characters that was something unshakeable.

Glad you liked THE FORT. I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out.                      -----Gordon Korman-----

Thank you for responding! (I never thought I'd be writing to you!!)
